Debris and particles can damage the sensitive parts inside your water pump. Designed for Shurflo 2088, 4000 and 4009 series pumps. The Shurflo inline 1/2" pump filter screws onto the inlet side of the pump and keeps debris and particles out which prevents damage. The Shurflo twist filters transparent design is also convenient as it shows when the filter should be cleaned/emptied. All water pumps must be installed with an inline filter otherwise warranty is void.
