Why Choose Gipsy Caravans ?

Established in 1951, we have 60+ years of experience and are now 3 generations of caravan builders

We offer friendly, efficient service from a family owned and operated business

We are experts in all things to do with caravans, campers and motorhomes in New Zealand

We do NOT manufacture on a production line. All of our new vans are hand built by skilled New Zealand craftsmen for New Zealand conditions

Gipsy caravans are designed for ease of towing with a slick exterior design and most of the weight on the vehicle positioned over the axles

The life expectancy of a caravan built by Gypsy Caravans is 30 – 50 years!!!

The long life expectancy of our caravans means they hold their value better than other brands

All new caravans have a 2 year factory warranty, including return to factory FREE yearly 'tune-ups' within the warranty period

We offer a full after sales service

Gipsy Caravans are still building caravans the same way we have done for over 40 years

Tanalised timber frames for walls and ceiling and tanalised timber floor. This means the structure is strong and flexible, and most importantly …it WON’T rot if water does happen to get in

Each vehicle is fully insulated with polyester bats in the ceiling and polystyrene in the walls. All walls have a 1cm air cavity which allows the walls to breath … very important in New Zealand weather conditions
We offer high quality vehicles and products with a reliable service … WE SERVICE WHAT WE SELL
We have a full range of parts and accessories for caravans and motorhomes
For our custom built vehicles, the interior height is can be adjuated to suit
